Denbigh Town Plan is published in draft form - please respond

Just had a call from Mark Dixon at Denbighshire County Council to say the draft Denbigh Town Plan is on the County web site and they are keen to hear from as many  people as possible as  to what they think. There is no closing date to this consultation as it is open ended in that the plan will be ongoing and dynamic .
The link to the plan as follows:

I have had a quick look at the plan  and had hoped that the Third Sector i.e voluntary, community, social enterprises , charities etc  would have had a greater stake in the delivery of the actions given there is vibrant third sector in Denbigh as evidenced by the work of the local groups and organisations. Maybe in time that will change . It just feels quite top down in its delivery mechanism.

Families First is coming - any day now

Attended the Children and Young Peoples Partnership this morning and we agreed to the final document which sets out the service specifications for the 9 different project themes under Families First. That document will be on our web site within the next 48 hours and of course Suzanne at our office in Ruthin will be able to mail it out or email to those that are interested.

Deadline for returning tenders has been agreed at 31.1.12 and so now is the time for all those organisations out there that are thinking of bidding to start developing their ideas as the service specification document is quite clear as to the amount of money available and the service required.

We are here to help anyone through the process so please just phone or email whenever you are ready but please don't leave it too late.
