When can a building be too secure? When it locks out the Chief Executive Officer

I have often wondered how secure our building at Naylor  Leyland really is. Well I can tell you from personal experience to day that it is secure and also without the security fob it is impossible to gain access to the office area. Luckily tonight when I managed to lock myself out it wasn't too cold and whilst all the staff had left for the day I was fortunate in  that Gareth came to the rescue as he returned following a visit to a  voluntary organisation this afternoon. Had it not been for Gareth I could have been here for hours, cold and hungry.

So its a lesson I will remember " Always keep the security fob on my person".

A positive from all of this is that I can report to our premises sub committee in two weeks time that the security at our building is robust.
