Are you interested in funding to help community and voluntary organisations who support older people?
If so the Big Lottery have two programmes. One is called Advantage and the amount available ranges from £200,000 to £1 million per application and the deadline for submitting a bid is 29th October 2010.
The second programme is called "Lifeskills". This will take the form of a contract rather than a grant and the amounts are variable with a deadline of 30th September 2010
DVSC will be applying for money from both programmes to ensure money is secured and invested in Denbighshire. We will do this by partnering with various community and voluntary organisations and our involvement will be in using our financial and management skills in making sure the money is accounted for and all the rules and regulations are complied thus leaving the community and voluntary groups to have money to deliver local services and activities for the older people - a magical combination.
