Giving money away - why is it so hard?

I bet you don't get asked this question this very often. Well for the third year in a row we are having to actively publicise the Communities First Trust Fund for West Rhyl. This fund has £20,000 available this year and so far 4 months into the year only £1000 has been allocated. So what about the other £19000. If you know of community, voluntary projects in Rhyl West , then please, please tell them about the Trust Fund. We will give them all the help they need to fill in the form.

And also whilst I am talking about money did you know we have a grant fund solely for youth groups and guess what we have money to give away with that fund also. Just contact Gerry Frobisher at our Rhyl office 01745 369973 and ask him for an application form. The final decision on who gets what is made up entirely of young people aged between 16 and 25 and so I know they are keen to support youth groups in the area and of course that fund applies across all of Denbighshire.
