By now , if you have made representations to the County Council you will have received a letter to say the revised plan is now on deposit at various locations throughout the County as well as being accessible via their web site http://www.denbighshire.gov.uk/. The revised plan takes the form of an alternative site register which details the suggested changes to the original sites proposed for development.
There is no doubt that there has been a lot of activity in developing this plan which of course is still ongoing in that it is expected that an Independent Planning enquiry will take place in the Spring of 2011 following the County Council assessment which is to be debated on the 14th September 2010.
Following the 8 week consultation during October to November 2009 which involved holding surgeries (26 exhibitions) at various venues across the County and printing posters and flyer's the following responses were received:
1068 objections out of a total of 1568 representations of which 536 representations related to Bodelwyddan (502 objections)
